About us

When passion meets precision

Committed to crafting exceptional experiences

Pulaaku Vienna: Austria Culture Connection

At Pulaaku Vienna, we believe culture is a bridge not a boundary. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to connect Fulani culture with Austrian society, while also bringing Austrian cultural experiences to the Fulani people, especially those in Sierra Leone and the broader West African region.

Rooted in quality and integrity

As part of our ongoing cultural exchange, we actively showcase Fulani traditions, cuisine, music, and values across Vienna from the colorful festivals to community events like the Pulaaku Fest. At the same time, we help our people back home and in the diaspora explore Austrian art, language, and community practices, fostering deeper understanding and mutual respect.

Striving for excellence

We’re also committed to celebrating Krio identity and culture, connecting with our Sierra Leonean roots and sharing our diversity proudly. Whether it’s a Fulani storytelling night, a Krio cooking session, or a traditional Austrian dance performance, Pulaaku Vienna is a living example of what happens when cultures meet not in conflict, but in connection.

Join us in building a space where identity is embraced, diversity is celebrated, and heritage is shared.

Growing steadily from humble beginnings

It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. As a small business, we pride ourselves on personal attention and dedication to every detail. Our approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to excellence.

Pulaaku Vienna: Austria Cultural Connection

At Pulaaku Vienna, we believe that culture is a bridge, not a border. Our mission is clear: We bring the Fulani culture to Austria and at the same time make Austrian culture accessible to Fulani communities in Sierra Leone and beyond.

Through music, food, language and festivals, we proudly show our Fulani traditions from colorful stands at the Vienna Carnival to storytelling evenings and cultural workshops. At the same time, we help our community to better understand Austria its art, its language, its way of life.

An important part of our work is also the Krio culture from Sierra Leone. It is a living part of our identity. We celebrate them with cooking evenings, story hours and cultural exchange.

Pulaaku Vienna stands for dignity, dialogue and cultural connection. We invite you to participate in our events, learn more about our history and help build bridges between our cultures.
