🌍 Discovering Pulaaku: A Celebration of Fulani Culture in Vienna

On the weekend of May 4–5, 2024, Vienna’s Donau-City-Straße transformed into a vibrant hub of culture at the Pulaaku Cultural Event, celebrating the rich traditions and values of the Fulani people alongside global cultures.

Why “Pulaaku”?

Pulaaku is the Fulani ethical code emphasizing virtues like munyal (patience), hakkilo (wisdom), semteende (modesty), laawol (loyalty), and ngorgu (generosity) (). This event aimed not only to showcase performances but to embody these values through interaction, respect, and cultural exchange.

Highlights from the Weekend
